About Titanium Gear
Titanium is the gold standard for outdoor gear. It offers the best of both worlds:
- Ultralight: It is about 45% lighter than steel, helping you shed pack weight.
- Strong: It is twice as strong as aluminum and resists deformation.
- Healthy: Titanium is biocompatible, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic. It will never rust or leave a metallic taste in your food or drinks.
Single-Wall Gear: YES. Our single-wall pots and mugs are designed to be used directly on camp stoves, open fires, or charcoal.
Double-Wall Gear: NO! Never heat double-wall (insulated) mugs or bowls over a direct heat source. The air trapped between the walls can expand and cause the item to deform or burst.
This is a natural characteristic of titanium called “heat anodization.” When exposed to high heat, titanium can turn beautiful shades of blue, purple, and gold. Many outdoor enthusiasts love this unique “patina” as a badge of honor from their adventures. It does not affect safety or performance.

Processing Time: 1-2 business days.
Standard Shipping: Generally 6-12 business days for customers in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

In most cases, for small personal orders (e.g., under $800 in the USA), you will not be charged duties. However, officially, customers are responsible for any customs fees or taxes imposed by their local government.

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can also track your package status on our Order Tracking page.
We offer a 30-day return window. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us.
Important: Since international return shipping can be costly, please email us first at wayne@vrostoutdoors.com before mailing anything back. In many cases (such as defects), we can offer a refund or replacement without requiring a return.
We are so sorry! Please take a photo of the damaged item and email it to wayne@vrostoutdoors.com. We will send you a free replacement immediately. You do not need to return the broken item.
Care & Maintenance
Yes, most plain titanium gear is dishwasher safe. However, to maintain the finish (especially for polished or colored items), we recommend hand washing with a soft sponge and mild soap.
Titanium’s matte finish can sometimes show fingerprints (natural oils). Simply wash it with warm soapy water and dry it with a towel, and it will look brand new.
Titanium never rusts. If you see spots, it is likely mineral deposits (limescale) from the water or burnt food residue. You can easily clean it by boiling water with a little vinegar or baking soda.
